A Day to Remember – Homesick

Ah, yes, I remember it fondly. My transition from Pop music to Rock was one of the best things that happened to me. Rock music is great. We all know that. Its scope is so wide, that just about anyone can find something they like within its confines. The first time I listened to the Pop/Punk goodness of the original Fall Out Boy, and that fateful day I stumbled upon the barrage of Pop/Rock energy that is Paramore. It was awesome. But what about after that? What if whale-proportioned choruses and squeaky-clean vocals just don’t cut it any more?

Now, my friend, is your time to cut across into the sharp and jagged territory of the heavier stuff, and A Day to Remember is a damn good way to start.

Paramore Radio 1 Live Lounge

Paramore did a performance of their new song “Ignorance” As well as a cover of Kings Of Leon’s “Use Somebody” Both songs pretty much blew everyone away, and if you heard the text shutouts then you’d definitely know how popular the songs were.

Pop-Rock is a genre that is rapidly increasing in popularity, breaking down the barriers between two extremes and merging them to create a genre that can be enjoyed by all.

Paramore have so far released 2 albums, ‘Riot’ and ‘All We Know Is Falling’,while many dedicated fans are also eagerly anticipating the release of the new album ‘Brand New Eyes’. The name Paramore is actually derived from the word ‘Paramour’ Which has strong connotations of love.
