First conceived during the latter portion of summer 2009 RockStopScene continued to become a member of the ‘bland’ online forums club. However, after a persistent influx of creative mind-sex the idea of creating a haven for doting rock lovers to both converse and read about the latest lavish stars was born.

I’m going to be brutally honest. It was hard to get started. Mainstream bands don’t want to know you, small-bands ‘accidently’ forget your message, and even Bill the stalker starts to get bored reading only pointless drivel.

Eventually the big break came with My Passion a band synonymous to that of Lady Gaga due to their friendly charm, and unique-utilization of fan participation.

A year down the line and the amount of bands that contact us with press releases, Cd’s, and interview offers is highly substantial. Readership has rocketed. And, we’re finally beginning to get recognized as a credible rock-institution.

However, the success doesn’t just stop at RockStopScene.

I’m now also a journalist for Playground Magazine; a publication that sells 10,000 physical copies and has 200,000 viewers of its free online version.

Things now finally seem to be looking up for both a site and journalist that ran before he could walk, and inevitably had to be resuscitated before he could find his feet.
