I have been watching Courtney for years and watched her grow in talent and presentation. Without reservation her passion for the music she sings explodes beyond words.

You have a link to hear her cover for Carly Smithson. She does Lacey Mosley’s style very well. And she has also been compared to Amy (Lee) Hartzler.

I know it is blasphemous, but “move over Amy”.

I’ve been enjoying Courtney’s singing for a while now. She sounds just as good, if not better than many of the artists she’s covered. She definitely pours her soul into her singing, and that makes me look forward to each new video, and her well deserved success- not just for her amazing talent or beauty (which are undeniable), but for her heart- I remember watching some of her earlier videos, and a video to help people who were depressed. I stumbled on it shortly after getting back from Iraq and getting ditched by my wife, who had been carrying on an emotional affair, spent everything I earned, and then told me she never really loved me. I was devastated, and even though I was never going to give up on life, it was so very encouraging to know there was someone sweet enough to take the time to put the message out there that they cared. Someone like that deserves all the success in the world.

Of course I know it’s We Are The Fallen. I’m saying her voice ‘matches Amy Lee’s vocal abilitys’, not that it’s the same song nor band.

Regardless of what symphonic rock-esque song she sings, it’s always going to have that hint of Amy as well as her own uniqueness.

You said she sounds like Amy, which I follow her on youtube and she does… BUT the example song isnt Amy or Evanescence, it’s We Are The Fallen (the knockoff)
